新冠肺炎疫情擴散，一度令法院停擺，意外阻礙上市公司私有化或個別大型併購活動。較早前，會德豐（0020）宣布，私有化通函要押後兩個月至5月19日寄出。華坊諮詢評估執行董事羅珏瑜表示：「今次會德豐私有化的交易最棘手及最具挑戰的部分，在於在當前高等法院因應疫情而停擺，致取得法院批准私有化要延期。」至於原有的作價條款是否仍然對股東繼續吸引，她認為，得依當時市况及涉及的公司本身之業務而定。
