Electronic Arts (EA), one of the world's premier gaming giants, has agreed to a landmark acquisition valued at a record-breaking $55 billion. This transaction marks the second-largest acquisition in the history of the gaming industry. Under the terms of the agreement, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), in collaboration with private equity firms Silver Lake and Affinity Partners, will pay EA shareholders $210 per share—representing a substantial 25% premium over the company’s current market valuation.
