CHFT acted on behalf of an investment arm of a local bank to value its equity interest in a private joint venture, of which a partner is a leading developer in Hong Kong.
The joint venture engages in development, investment and management of properties. It holds unsold properties as stock as well as various investment properties such as a sizeable retail mall and batches of car parking spaces in Hong Kong.
The assignment demands joint efforts of property valuation and business valuation teams. We collected property information of the assets and financial statements of the joint venture from the major shareholder and assessed a fair value of the equity interests for our client.
